We are a non-denominational ministry in the upstate part of South Carolina. We believe that God created the world and all that is in it (Psalm 24:1). We believe that God created us to have fellowship with.
We believe that since God created the world that He could call the shots for us to live by (Exodus 20 and others). We believe that all of mankind has broken God’s rules such as not lying, not stealing, not using God’s name in cursing, not sleeping around with those we aren’t married to, destroying our own babies, coming into sexual union with those whom God forbids, and many others (Romans 3:23). We believe that according to scripture these transgressions separate us from God and His love for us. If we were to die spiritually separated from God we would end up eternally separated from Him in Hell and then the Lake of Fire, a place of torment which was created for the Devil and his followers (Mathew 25:41). (The sin that we allow to rule in our lives is like a virus or cancer with which spreads to others around us by our model of encouragement to them. Therefore God would not allow us to live in Heaven and so infect those there with our rebellion.)
We believe that God so loved us that He wishes we would repent or turn from our sins so that we would not be judged and perish (2nd Peter 3:9). We believe that God loved us so much that He asked His only Son Jesus to strip Himself of all His power, glory, honor, and riches in Heaven and come down to Earth in the seed of man. He then grew up living a sinless life and at his age of maturity allowed Himself to be crucified physically for our sins and shortly thereafter be tortured in our stead spiritually in Hell (Messianic Psalm 88).
Then He was resurrected 3 days later (John 20:17). If we would turn from our sins (repentance), believe the Jesus died in our place, and rose again, and invite Him into come live in us and become our Lord, then we would pass from spiritual death to spiritual life (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10, and Revelation 3:20).
When we do the above, we believe that we become new creatures in Christ, spiritually (2nd Corinthians 5:17). If we have truly been converted then we will base our salvation on God’s Word and not our feelings which can deceive us (Mathew 24:35).
We will also desire to be water baptized which is a sign to the outside world that we have died to self and have become alive in Jesus (Mark 16:16). (This is only one of 5 baptisms mentioned in scripture. It is called ‘believers baptism’.)
We believe we as believers should seek the infilling of God’s Spirit as described in Acts 2-3, Acts 8:15, Acts 9:17, Acts 10:44, and Acts 19:2. We believe we should share our faith with others so that they also might be saved and to fulfill Jesus’ Commission to us in Mathew 28:19 and Mark 16:15. We believe that we should begin to read and study God’s Word in order to grow in God (1st Peter 2:15, 2nd Timothy 2:15). We believe that we should regularly attend a fellowship where we can share and receive (Hebrews 10:25, 1st Corinthians 14:26).
We believe that we should believe for the supernatural to be a part of our lives and not shrink back from it in fear (Acts 4:29, John 14:12). This includes divine healing (Isaiah 53:5, Mathew 8:17, 1st Peter 2:28, and James 5:14) and deliverances from bondages such as sexual sins, physical addictions, and mental torments.
These are the things that we believe in and share with others around the world. Please pray how you might become a part with our ministry to take the gospel to the world and by doing so hasten the time when Jesus comes back for His Body, the Church (1st Thessalonians 4:16). |
